I never said that this was how the USP did the test. I stated that this

is a way to test vitamins without the USP label. It does work and has

been tried by myself and a number of my friends and associates.

Although quality control is a real and serious issue in the

supplement business, the self-test you describe is not the

USP method and will not yield reliable results of disintegration

or dissolution. This is a popular misconception.
