Dear Dr. Rupp;

The only real solution to this situation is education of the public on

the possibility of allergens (real) while also educating them as to the

other nonexistent believed "dangers". While this task is not simple, it is a

hurdle that technology has faced since the beginning of time. Following

or concurrent with this education, labeling of the products, which in my

opionion is unavoidable, could be iniated. An aggressive approach now

will simplify this emerging situation in the future. Companies producing

genetically engineered products should provide funding for this public

education willingly since a profit is obviously being made for the

products.

Sincerely;

Wendy Sealey
