[Fwd: Milk consumption by breastfeeding moms?]

Thank you for forwarding this info. In my experience this advice seems

inappropriate, as per other peoples comments. In the Uk some research was

done in the 1980's looking at transference of allergens in breast milk and

work was published in Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, sorry I don´t

have reference to hand. It is my view that this exclusion should be carefully

supervised with addition of appropriate milk free calcium sources etc. Also

in recent research for my book I found nothing in the literature to support

this global recommendation.
