Julie, that's impossible.

The Zone diet prescribes a ratio of 3g protein to 4g carbo to 1.5g fat

at each meal and snack. (Example: Chocolate flavor Balance Bar -- 14g

protein (56 cal), 22g carbo (88 cal), 6g fat (54 cal), to be washed

down with lots of water.) Under the Sears system, this would be two

"blocks" of fuel, with most meals consisting of 3-5 blocks.

Your relative ought to actually read the Zone and not rely on this

"follower." 15g carbos makes absolutely no sense. It's not the Zone

diet, and sounds very unhealthy to me.

Who am I? A 30-something copyright and trademark lawyer in

California. I have no idea how I got subscribed to this list, but

it's very interesting. I read the Zone in October and am still

looking for objective analyses of that plan...
