The following is a partial list of researchers/institutions I am aware of

that have received support from EAS to conduct independent clinical trials

on various nutritional supplements. This list comes from recently published

abstracts/articles. I understand that they have sponsored additional

studies at other institutions as well. This support ranges from providing

supplements for the studies to fully funding direct/indirect research costs.

EAS has provided supplements for three of my studies (two on creatine and

one on pyruvate) and fully funded 6 others over the last 3.5 years (three on

creatine containing products, two on HMB, and one on CLA). In my years of

conducting research on nutritional supplements, I have not seen any

nutritional supplement company as actively involved in sponsoring clinical

research.

Dr. Richard B. Kreider - University of Memphis (creatine, HMB, CLA, pyruvate)

Dr. Paul Greenhaff - University of Nottingham (creatine)

Dr. Eric Hultman - Karlinska Institute, Sweeden (creatine)

Dr. Mel Williams - Old Dominion University (creatine)

Dr. Peter Lemon - Kent State Universty (creatine, CLA)

Dr. Jeff Stout - Creighton University (creatine, HMB, pyruvate, Endurox)

Dr. Matt Vukovich - Wichita State University (HMB)

Dr. Steve Nissen - Iowa State University (HMB)

Dr. N.N. Abumrad - Cornell University Medical College (HMB)

Dr. Peter Snell - University of Texas Southwest Medical Center (creatine)

Conrad Earnest - Texas Woman's University (creatine)

Dr. T.L. Mitchell & Dr. R. Rodriquez - The Cooper Clinic (creatine)

W. Cheng - State University of New York at Stony Brook (HMB)

University of Colorado Health Sciences Center - (creatine)

If you are familiar with exercise science and sport nutrition, you obviously

recognize many of these researchers/instititions. If you are interested in

getting details of these studies, you may want to contact Brett Hall, R.D.,

Director of Research and Development at EAS at the following email address -
