This is Linda B.- Let me add my 2 cents worth- Blood levels of calcium

are part of the body's homoeostasis mechanism and are kept within a range.

If there is not enough dietary calcium the body goes to its storehouse-

the bones to maintain the blood level to keep your heart beating and

muscles contracting. Therefore calcium blood levels are not a good

measure of calcium nutriture.
